Project Experience

Unreal

Unreal is a powerful game engine, which lends itself well to impressive projects. With the few years I've worked in Unreal Engine, I've had the opportunity to utilize the architecture of the game engine to make creative games. My skills include blueprint scripting, player controllers, multiplayer, and UI implementation.

I seek to solve problems and find creative solutions. I clear blockers by getting the best person for each position. I coordinate development around dependencies to ensure efficiency.

Chostcon: Elementals

Ghostcon: Elementals has been another chance to explore the features of UE5. As I work with a larger team of developers, I am responsible for implementing an ability system complete with modular pieces and UI integration.

Connection Beyond Time

Each member on our team had a specialized role, creating content in their vacuum. I served at our team's center, implementing designs, creating levels and mechanics, and ensuring the networking continued to function as intended. In the end, our project was something we were proud to display.

Dark Reflections

Dark Reflections was the culmination of my experimentation with various systems at the introduction of UE5. I wanted to create a character with a unique mechanic and levels to experiment in. Along the way, I added sound effects, music, and some environmental narrative. I showed my game off at several indie development nights, and I was very pleased with the feedback I received.
